Meet Our CEO
Austin Matthews
I bring 20+ years of hands-on experience in the automotive and trucking industry. My journey began on the front lines as a Diesel Technician, Parts Consultant, and Service Advisor within my family’s dealership. This grassroots understanding equipped me to excel in leadership roles because I understand all the common problems the employees are going through.
Throughout my career, I’ve witnessed firsthand the industry’s pain points: a shortage of skilled workers and a lack of technology to drive data-informed decisions. At Matthews Motors, I’ve spearheaded digital transformation and growth into a multifaceted dealership that includes (Fleet management, Upfit, Mobile Repairs) but I’ve also grappled with the inefficiency of managing 30+ separate systems such as: Customer Portals, Accounting, Operations, Fleet management, OEMs, and many more.
This experience fueled the creation of Onward Solutions – a technology company focused on empowering businesses by providing secure, domestically-based technology services, supporting economic growth while prioritizing data protection. We’re dedicated to strengthening our nation’s future through education and community support.
